Liability

  • We do not accept responsibility for damages to belongings if customer does not provide adequate and appropriate moving blankets and restraints. (LABOR ONLY)

  • We do not accept responsibility for damages to home structure if customer does not provide adequate and appropriate protection to the home structure or choose a home protection option provided by Mindful Movers. 

  • We do not accept responsibility for broken fragile items that are not in boxes, totes or crated. This includes, but is not limited to TVs, mirrors, marble, pictures, artwork, glass, lamps, clocks & any other fragile articles. Fragile items only wrapped in blankets and shrinking-wrapped will be moved at owner’s risk. However, we will be mindful and careful in handling those items. 

 

  • We do not accept responsibility for damage to home structure or to furniture being moved with any loose contents still inside of said article. This includes but is not limited to dressers, chests, file cabinets, desks, hutches, armoires, appliances and toolboxes (not on wheels).

  • We do not accept responsibility for unstable & particle board furniture being damaged. These must be disassembled prior to being moved as they are likely to fall apart in handling and/or transport. Items that do not need to be disassembled will be determined by crew lead.

  • We do not accept responsibility for items getting dirty that are not wrapped and properly secured. 

  • We do not accept responsibility for any electrical or mechanic items unless there is clear mishandling by our staff.

  • We do not accept responsibility for any items subject to weather change or rain or snow, and clearly damaged because of the fact.

  • We do not accept responsibility for any items that are too large to make a turn or go up/down stairs properly and smoothly.
